ICAR-ATARI, Zone VI, Guwahati participated in 10th Indian Horticulture Congress-“Unleashing Horticultural Potential for Self-Reliant India”organised by Indian Academy of Horticultural Sciences, New Delhi in collaboration with Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam during 6th to 9th November, 2023 at College of Veterinary Science,Khanapara, Guwahati.The congress was attended by KVKs of Arunachal Pradesh, AssamandSikkim along with the Scientists of ICAR-ATARI, Zone VI, Guwahati. Around 100 tribal farmers from KVK Goalpara, Assam also participated in the congress and interacted in the Farmers’ Scientist Interaction session of the congress. ICAR-ATARI, Zone VI, Guwahati also taken part in the exhibition during the congress andshowcased various indigenous fruits, millets, other field crops, various traditional clothing and value added products from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Sikkim. ICAR-ATARI, Zone VI, Guwahati has been awarded first prize among all the stalls in the exhibition of 10th Indian Horticulture Congress.
