The a-IDEA, Technology Business Incubator of ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad, organised a Sensitization Programme on “Entrepreneurship Development in Veterinary Sciences” for students of Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner.
Dr. Sumant Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, RAJUVAS, appreciated ICAR-NAARM’s efforts in fostering entrepreneurial awareness among students nationwide, particularly in the veterinary sector. He emphasized the need to integrate entrepreneurship into veterinary education to address emerging industry challenges and empower students to become job creators.

Dr. Gopal Lal, Acting Director, ICAR-NAARM and President, a-IDEA, underlined the urgent need for innovative, field-oriented solutions, highlighting the potential of creative ideas in redefining the future of veterinary sciences.
During the technical session, the experts, stressed the importance of nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among veterinary students and urged educators to guide learners toward disruptive innovations.
Earlier, Dr. R.K. Dhuria, Director (Extension), RAJUVAS, welcomed the participants and outlined key skills essential for entrepreneurship, offering practical strategies for success.
A total of 177 students and faculty members participated virtually in the programme.
